The Old Coach House is a beautiful Cotswold stone property hidden away in a quiet residential lane yet just a 10 minute stroll from Witney's High Street shops, restaurants and cafe's.
This large and quirky property, dating back to the 1700s, is arranged to make best use of the Old Coach House layout and retains many original feature walls and beams.
Layout
On the ground floor you enter a lovely country kitchen via a stable door. The fully fitted kitchen has a beautiful vaulted ceiling and is open plan to the spacious dining area. From the dining area there is a small set of steps up to a huge lounge with patio doors and double windows onto the sunny patio and enclosed private garden.
There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor, with a few steps up and down to each room.
The Master suite has a king-size bed, sitting area and a Juliette balcony with a lovely garden view, plus a large walk-in wardrobe/dressing room and en-suite.
Along the hall is the large family bathroom, with exposed Cotswold stone brick work, and two more bright and sunny bedrooms (one double and one twin). At the end of the hallway you will find a second staircase leading down to the fourth bedroom; another bright and spacious double with its own en-suite and access to the driveway.
Things to Note
The Coach House has beautiful high ceilings throughout the property, but there are a couple of points where structural beams are lower and you may need to mind your head! This is on entry and exit to the master bedroom (just over the steps), the stairs to bedroom 4 and (if you are over 6ft) the beam in the kitchen.
Bedroom 4 is not suitable for young children as it is down the second staircase - away from the rest of the bedrooms and the living space.
